To answer your post, sir, I would like to point out that the Bible never condemns having children before age 20.

There are a few notable examples in the Bible where this happened.

2nd Chronicles 22:21-25 Amon was two and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned two years in Jerusalem. But he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the carved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them; And humbled not himself before the Lord, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more. And his servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house. But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.

Amon took power in Judah at age 22 and ruled for 2 years before he was overthrown and killed.

His 8-year-old son, Josiah, was made king in his place.

In other words, Amon fathered Josiah at age SIXTEEN!

2nd Chronicles 34:1 Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem one and thirty years.

2nd Chronicles 36:1-5 Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father's stead in Jerusalem. Jehoahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem. And the king of Egypt put him down at Jerusalem, and condemned the land in an hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold. And the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and turned his name to Jehoiakim. And Necho took Jehoahaz his brother, and carried him to Egypt. Jehoiakim was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord his God.

Josiah ruled for 31 years, dying at age 39.

The same year he died, his two sons, who were aged 23 and 25, respectively, took power.

Do the math and you will see that Josiah fathered them when he was 14 and 16 years of age!

And honestly, the Bible never condemns having kids before age 20, and the issue is not teen pregnancy but UNWED teen pregnancy.

There is nothing wrong with having kids before age 20. The only problem is UNWED teen pregnancy.

One of the key rules to avoiding poverty in any first-world country? Don't have kids until you are married!

The Bible never condemns having kids young.

Just look at ultraconservative Independent Baptists, such as the New IFB, led by Steven Anderson. Anderson got married at age 19 and he is currently 44 years old and a father of 12.

His eldest 4 children are now adults, aged 18-23 years.

The eldest 2 are married, and the second son (Isaac) is 22 years old and a father of 1. He got married two years ago; his wife, Artemesia, was only 16 at the time.

Roger Jimenez, one of Anderson's closest friends, got married at age 18.

If you look at the ultraconservative Independent Baptists, you will see that they promote early marriage.

Just a few years ago, when Solomon Anderson (Steven Anderson's eldest son) was 18 years old, he was preparing to get married, but the engagement broke off.
